This month, we're learning all about what makes objects sink or float. We'll be playing with water beads in the sensory table, experimenting with soft and squishy marshmallows to see if they float, and reading Who Sank the Boat? by Pamela Allen.


January 10, 2019
This week, we'll be making it rain in the sensory table, experimenting with different objects that float and sink, and reading 10 Little Rubber Ducks by Eric Carle. 


January 17, 2019
Does an orange sink or float? Or both? This week, we'll find out! We'll also be playing with water magnets in the sensory table, and reading Floating and Sinking by Julie Murray.


January 24, 2019
What causes a sponge to both sink and float? Find out this week! We'll also be playing with water in the sensory table and reading Floating and Sinking by Peter Riley.


January 31, 2019
Did you know that liquids can float on top of each other? Come and experiment with us to see what liquids float and what liquids sink! Play with purple slime in the sensory table and listen to Float by Daniel Miyares.


All programs include a story, music, and movement, as well as a focus on early math and science skills.
