Friendship Party
All children who wish to participate in the party are asked to bring a set of gender-neutral Valentine cards to be handed out to each child in the group. Specific names need not be placed on each card, simply addressing to ‘my friend,” from your child’s name is acceptable. Also, a snack or drink to share with the group is much appreciated. Children will listen to a themed story and will have lots of fun exchanging cards and other treats with their friends.

Dancing Valentine's Day Hearts
This month, we'll be developing our math skills through fun and games. We are also learning to be little scientists with some awesomely explosive experiments. This week, come go on a hunt for valentines in the library, play a number matching game, do an experiment to make conversation hearts dance, and play with water beads in our sensory table.

Fizzy Valentine's Day Art
If we want to be little mathematicians, we have to learn how to identify our numbers! Come play a song-and-dance game where we develop our number identification skills, use baking soda and vinegar to create beautiful, fizzy Valentine's Day hearts, and play with sweet pink play dough in the sensory table.

Melting Valentine's Day Chemistry
Our observation skills will be honed this week through some fun, bubbly reactions! We'll be sorting and counting conversation hearts, doing an experiment with frozen conversation hearts, and playing a heart matching game in the sensory table.

Valentine's Day Milk Explosion
Our little super scientists will learn to make colors move and mix on a tray of milk without touching them this week! We'll also be applying our new math skills in a fun counting game, and melting ice cubs with droppers and water beads in the sensory table.

All programs include a story, music, and movement, as well as a focus on early math and science skills.
