Jerry Skrocki has been a photographer for over 40 years. He does it all from the click of the shutter to the final print. Starting with film photography and a color darkroom to the latest digital camera and photo printer, the color of life has always been a continuing theme. His photographic style includes portraits, landscapes, still life, commercial/product and photojournalism.

Jerry currently works as the principal photographer for the Sentinel of Amsterdam project. He has volunteered his photography for the Amsterdam Waterfront Foundation, Amsterdam Recreation, Friends of the Sanford Stud Farm and the Amsterdam Photography Club.

A self taught photographer, Jerry utilizes local camera clubs to learn and share new techniques. In 2008 he augmented his photographic skills with a degree in Visual Communications Technology - Graphic Arts Printing from FM.

Jerry Skrocki’s images have appeared in publications such as Elle Decor magazine, Middletown Record, Clearwater Rivercrafter catalog, Hudson Register Star, Schenectady Gazette, Albany Times Union, Metroland magazine, the Recorder, Amtrak’s NY By Rail magazine, Montgomery County Tourism catalog, Hill & Markes ice cream catalog and on Hill & Markes panel trucks.

Jerry Skrocki’s photos are also featured in his blog, The Grove Street Photographer. His work has been exhibited in the Hudson Art Walk, Amsterdam Free Library and the Cooperstown regional juried exhibition, Essential Art.
